DANG DANG, S.A.U is concerned about the personal data that we handle and the need for strict compliance with current regulations concerning protection of personal data (among others, Organic Law 15/1999, dated the 13th of December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Royal Decree 1720/2007, dated the 21st of December, which approved the Regulations for the development of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data).

Consequently, we offer this privacy policy regarding the treatment of the data handled by DANG DANG, S.A.U. so that users have the information necessary to decide if they wish to provide us with personal data when they fill in a form or send us an e-mail.

The principle of quality

Users of the website are informed that personal data that they may be asked to provide via our e-mail addresses or the forms included in certain sections of our website are adequate, pertinent and not excessive for the context and for the legitimate purposes, explicitly indicated, for which they are obtained.

All personal data items that we request, even when not marked with an asterisk, are necessary, and we cannot attend to petitions from users who do not provide all of the data.

Each form requesting personal data includes the corresponding legal notice or informative clause, indicating the specific purpose or purposes for which the data is required and other aspects required by current regulations regarding the protection of personal data. Users must read and accept the informative clause before sending their request.

By the same token, should a user share this information or other contents of the website with another person, said user must accept the obligation of informing the other person of the treatment of personal data (name and e-mail address) simply in order to send the other person the information that the user shares. To this end, apart from other security measures that we may adopt, our user registration form and purchase processes (for guests and check-out) include an electronic certificate that uses the SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer), so that the data transmitted is encrypted using 2048-bit keys.


In accordance with the provisions of article 10 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data, all persons who process or have access to users’ personal data shall maintain professional secrecy regarding them and are obliged to protect them indefinitely.
