Chusa and Martina are the brains behind Mumdose. This mother and daughter team decided to set up a family business with this cosmetics brand offering 100% natural and ecological products giving your skin a healthy, natural glow.

Today we found out what motivated them to start such project as well as the source of inspiration of these two stylish women from Madrid. Stay tuned for our beauty tip! ;)

What inspires you in life? Daily life. Each day is a new challenge with something new to learn.

When and how did you decide to start out on this new adventure? It´s been a while since my mum first started making cosmetics at home. Finally we decided to launch a brand in which all the products and benefits we'd been experimenting with at home could be enjoyed by everyone.

How would you describe each other? I think we're the perfect combination; mum is creative and I'm an entrepreneur.

A beauty tip? Rinse your hair with apple vinegar. It leaves your hair super shiny and soft!

What's your favourite place on the planet? Anywhere, as long as we're surrounded by people we love and who love us.

Are you more mountain or city types? It depends, we love the mountains for a complete switch off.

What do you like doing? A walk in the open air to breathe in the fresh air and feel inspired.

Your favourite artist? We have one in common... Mark Rothko, we think he's magical.

A book, a song and a film. At the moment I'm reading Becoming (Michelle Obama) and I love it. My mum was very impressed by Primo Levi's Auschwitz Trilogy. Films, definitely thrillers, and music, well, we like jazz, Sara Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and so on.

And a TV series? Neither of us really have time to follow series, we're more likely to sit down to watch a film, with a big bowl of popcorn.

What are your wardrobe must-haves? We're always on the lookout for wardrobe staples to create a good range of looks. Tailored coats (like this one from indi & cold) in neutral colours, high-leg leather boots, a good pair of jeans and cashmere sweaters. In the summer our wardrobes are full of colourful bikinis and loads of sarongs and sandals.

Something in your bag you can’t live without? Our mobile phones. I do try to use it less, but with work and Mumdose, it's impossible.

And in your fridge? Lots and lots of fruit and vegetables and something a bit more indulgent as a treat.

What's your favourite food or dish? We love tuna tartar and she makes a great one!

An eco-friendly tip for saving the planet? Recycle and avoid using plastic. It's so horrible to see how we're polluting the oceans with so much plastic.

A dream we'd like to come true, we have so many, you should never stop dreaming.

What are you going to do after this interview? Try on the whole indi & cold collection! We love it all!
